Hydrotherapy at our Oakwood Surgery

Could your pet benefit from Hydrotherapy?

Hydrotherapy is the use of physical movement through water to promote recovery and rehabilitation. It is also used to aid weight loss, gain muscle mass, and support the well-being of your canine companion.

Hydrotherapy’s main aim is to support mobility. By having a tailored exercise plan for your pet hydrotherapy can enable recovery from a wide range of conditions.

At our Oakwood Veterinary Surgery on Harper Lane close to Radlett & Shenley, we can now offer a state-of-the-art Hydrotherapy Aquatic Treadmill - specifically designed for our canine friends.

We have the ability to control the temperature of the water to help muscle recovery. Its also promotes blood circulation and relaxes body tissues. The water is important to support the patient, but also create resistance. More information on our hydrotherapy facilities can be found HERE.

Please contact us with any questions or ask us to arrange a referral to Oakwood Veterinary Surgery. There is ample parking at the surgery, and you are more than welcome to arrange a visit to see the facilities first if that would be helpful.
